The Norwalk Biddy seventh-grade boys basketball team dropped a tough 62-49 decision to the Fairfield PAL Hoyas Sunday at Roger Ludlowe Middle School in a Fairfield County Basketball League game.
Ryan Allen scored 17 points to lead Norwalk (0-3), while Joey Cantui scored 15. Ralph Maginot added 12.
Fairfield built a big lead in the second half and Norwalk whittled it to single digits several times, but the Hoyas (2-2) pulled away down the stretch.
Norwalk returns to action on Jan. 2 in a non-league game at the Stamford Jewish Community Center.
