Norwalk Babe Ruth 14s Capture League Crown

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Babe Ruth 14-and-under Babe Ruth team won the Interstate 84 championship Saturday by beating Danbury, 8-1.

Norwalk went 12-3-1 during the regular season and finished undefeated in its final six regular season games to earn the top seed for the playoffs.

Team members include Tyler McMillian, P.J. Morin, B.J. Buckle, Michael Boguski, Nathaniel Lewis, Sean Geercken, Brian Beaumonte, Matt Salata, Angel Nieves, Matt Crowley, Luke Schwartz, Alex Barone, Joe Cranston and Alex Kydes. The manager was Tom Beaumonte, assisted by Gerard Cranston and Al Barone.
