The Mid Fairfield 12-year-old team dropped a 2-1 shootout loss to Honeybaked. Darien's Meghan Halloran scored the Stars' goal, assisted by Gillis Frechette, also of Darien. Goalie Caroline Silk of Stamford made 13 saves.

The Stars finished fourth in the National Division and will play the Chicago Young Americans in the semifinals. Chicago went 3-0 in pool play to earn the top seed in the American Division.
