NORWALK, Conn. The Lightfoot Running Club has postponed for one week a 7-mile race that had been scheduled to start Saturday at 8 a.m. at Brien McMahon High School. The brutal heat wave that has gripped Connecticut this week forced the delay, race director Don Capone said.
Forecasts call for temperatures in the high 90s on Saturday. Capone said runners who have already registered but cannot make the race next Saturday will be issued a refund. Find out more information about the race series on www.lightfootrunners.com
