Greens Farms Girls Soccer Mauls Masters

WESTPORT, Conn. – Greens Farms Academy earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Fairchester Athletic Association tournament Thursday by defeating Masters, 4-1, in its final regular season game.

Phebe Wong, Hilary Shannon and Caroline Vanacore scored first half goals for the Dragons. Olivia Lennon knocked in the final goal in the second half.

Emily Caldwell, Blair Pelley and Tia Carson added assists for Greens Farms.

Greens Farms defense was strong throughout the match, led by senior captains Kate Tomlinson and Sam Brown, as well as sophomore Caroline Kruk in goal. Sophomore Georgie Garner, along with Pelley and Caldwell, also played well on defense.

The Dragons host Convent of the Sacred Heart in the first round of the playoffs on Monday.
