Danbury's Wooster School Honors Norwalk Student-Athlete

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Wooster School athletics community gathered in the Forever Young Gymnasium Tuesday, May 26 for the 13th annual Upper School Athletic Awards Ceremony to honor the year's achievements on the courts and fields, in the classroom and in the community.

Director of Student Life Brian Hastings, administrators and staff, along with student-athletes, coaches and parents from all 22 Wooster Generals teams, came together to celebrate the year's accomplishments.

Here are the individual award winners from Fairfield County. 

Varsity Coed Cross Country (Boys) Coaches Award: Aaron Young of Norwalk.

Varsity Coed Cross Country (Girls) Most Valuable: Caylynn Maldonado of Ridgefield.

Volleyball Most Valuable: Olivia Edelman of Ridgefield. 

Volleyball Most Improved: Trista Ma of Ridgefield. 

Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Most Valuable: Kathryn Madaloni of Ridgefield. 

Varsity Girls Volleyball Most Valuable: Julia Kalish of Ridgefield. 

Varsity Boys Basketball Most Valuable: Kern Byrnes of Ridgefield. 

Varsity Ultimate Frisbee Coaches Award: Alex Hard of Ridgefield.
