Connelly Wins Oak Hills Club Championship

NORWALK, Conn. – Marge Connelly edged Mary Ann Cappiello on the first playoff hole of the two-day Oak Hills Women's Golf Association club championship tournament. Connelly was declared 2011 club champion with a total score of 176. Cappiello was A flight champion with a score of 180.

Judy Witter won the C flight with a score of 207. The low net score for A flight went to Pat Coutermash (154). The low net for C flight went to Beth Schneider (178).

In a blind nine competition, in which the scorer randomly chooses nine holes and players using half their handicap, Connelly also came out on top with a net score of 32.5. Pat Courtemarsh won the club's "Hate 'em" Tournament, in which players can choose one par 3, one par 4 and one par 5 and mark them as pars without playing them. Courtemarsh finished with an 88.
