Bonaddio won the title over My Way Auto Body. My Way could not field enough players for the third and deciding game, giving Bonaddio the title by forfeit.

Bonaddio posted a 5-3 record in the early part of the season, struggling to find the right pieces. It won eight straight games before running into My Way in the playoffs, dropping an 8-0 decision. Bonaddio stayed alive with a narrow 6-5 win over Inferno Construction to earn another shot at My Way, which finished the season 10-7. Bonaddio finished 15-4, including a 4-1 record in the playoffs. Bonaddio and My Way had split two regular season games.

“"Throughout the season and into the playoffs, our boys played strong defense and got timely hitting,’’ Bonaddio manager Russ Miller said. “We had 12 kids coming together as one and it was a special season for all of them. We are extremely thankful to our generous sponsors Phyllis and Frank Bonaddio, who have shown tremendous support to the team and to Norwalk Little League over the years. It's players and people like this that make being a Little League Coach so special."

Members of the team are Artie Cocchia, Danny Miller, Noah Maldonado, Jesse Williams, Anthony Bonaddio, Francis Norris-Oliva, Tomas Norris-Oliva, Joey Cirifalco, Matt Corbin, Benny Vasquez, Johnnie Slade and Jeyson Slade. Jeff Cocchia and Francis Norris-Oliva assisted Miller as coaches.

Next up for Norwalk Little League is the District 1 Tournament, where Miller will be the co-manager of the team. Norwalk opens up District 1 play on Tuesday, June 28, with a game against Rowayton at Broad River in Norwalk. Start time is 5:45 p.m.
