The United Sons and Daughters AAU basketball program was outside Stop & Shop in Norwalk on Sunday afternoon collecting donations. The teams are hoping to raise enough money to travel to the Division One national championships in Orlando, Fla. The boys team came in third last year.
United Sons and Daughters AAU basketball is a Stamford-based, non-profit program founded by former Fairfield Univerisity basketball star Troy Bradford. The program was started with the purpose of bringing together young men and women from different socioeconomic backgrounds through basketball.
