Hey kids, which teacher excites you the most? Inspires you? Makes you eager to go to class? Hey parents, who goes the extra mile to challenge every student to learn? Starting today, you can show the love by nominating your favorite local teacher for our Star Teacher award.
Were celebrating these stars from now through April 11. Any teacher you nominate will receive a profile page where you can vote and leave comments. These profiles will link to the web page for each school. A teacher is eligible if he or she teaches in any of the schools in the 10 Fairfield County towns covered by our Main Street Connect news sites.
Vote totals will determine the winners. One teacher in each town will receive the MSC Star Teacher award and go into the MSC Teacher Hall of Fame. The teachers school will receive $1,000 and a $100 gift card to Staples.
