Too Hot For Class: Early Dismissals Planned At 11 Norwalk Schools On Monday

NORWALK, Conn. — Due to the very hot weather expected Monday, there will be early dismissal at 11 schools in Norwalk, the district said on Facebook.

The following 11 schools will have a two-hour early dismissal on Monday, June 12: 

  • Nathan Hale, 
  • Ponus Ridge, 
  • Roton, 
  • West Rocks, 
  • Cranbury, 
  • Kendall, 
  • Naramake, 
  • Rowayton, 
  • Silvermine, 
  • Tracey and 
  • Wolfpit. 

Buses will be available for students. 

The middle school promotion ceremonies planned for Monday night will go on as scheduled, the school district announced.

The last two days of school -- Tuesday and Wednesday  -- are also planned to be two-hour early dismissal days, the district said on Facebook.
