NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk High School’s winter concert, Candlelight, will be performed multiple times this holiday season.

The performances will be Dec. 16 to 18, all beginning at 8 p.m.

Candlelight is the oldest high school winter concert in New England. It began in the 1930s and has been performed every year except for two years during World War II, when regulations prevented the concert from being performed.

All 600-plus Norwalk High music students perform with the orchestra, chorus or band.

Doors close at 7:50 p.m. and guests should make plans to be on time. Parking is available at Naramake Elementary school and Andrews Field. Tickets are $5.
