The team-based Pitch Competition, funded by the NCC Foundation, in partnership with Bank of America, taps into brainpower and entrepreneurial spirit that thrives at the college, said a release.

Earlier this spring, teams were required to provide a brief summary of their proposed idea, a list of members and a faculty endorsement. The Foundation provided a mentor to each team and teams spent last month developing and submitting written statements of their ideas.

Five finalist teams were chosen April 8 to present their ideas to judges April 26 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the PepsiCo Theater at the college, 188 Richards Ave., Norwalk.

Cash prizes will be awarded.
