NEON’s camp is open this year from June 30 through Aug. 8 and operates 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Children between the ages of 5 and 13 are offered a variety of activities including: sports, arts and crafts, college preparation sessions, and field trips, all supervised by trained and caring counselors. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are served to campers daily.
The camp, which charges $200 for a family’s first child and $100 for each additional child, operates at the following sites in Norwalk and Stamford:
- NEON Neighborhood Center at Nathaniel Ely School in Norwalk
- Columbus School in Norwalk
- Lathon Wider Community Center in Stamford
Registration can be completed at NEON's offices at 98 S. Main St., Norwalk, and 34 Woodland Ave., Stamford, from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
