Mia Dunn and Angelica Zacarola received the scholarships at the All Saint Catholic School’s Class of 2015 commencement exercises, according to a press release.
Dunn and Zacarola just completed eighth-grade.
This marked the second year that the Knight of Columbus Council No. 14360 awarded the scholarships.
The scholarships were recently named to honor the Norwalk council’s first deputy grand knight, the late Mario Mastracchio.
“It is an honor to be able to help two Catholic students continue their academic as well as spiritual journey,” George Ribellino, a grand knight in the organization, said in a press release.
“Seeing the class in their cap and gowns reminds me of when I graduated, and I am excited for them on the path they all continue to take.”
