NORWALK, Conn. -- Individuals interested in pursuing a career in business, health care, information technology or public safety are encouraged to visit the Norwalk Community College website and check out the summer 2016 non-credit catalog to learn about the various career and certificate programs being offered.

A wide variety of career and certificate programs are available, many of which can be completed in one semester. All courses equip students with the skills they need to embark on their desired careers. 

Programs are available in the following areas:

  • Business – Legal secretary, small business management and entrepreneurship, real estate principles and practices, travel, professional bartending
  • Health care – Homemaker companion, certified nurse aide, physical therapy aide, medical billing and reimbursement specialist
  • Information technology – Computer graphics
  • Public safety – Connecticut State Security Officer certification
