  • Steve Smith, Chief Building Inspector in Westport
  • Bill Andriopoulos, Principal, Andriopoulos Design Associates, based in Norwalk
  • Phil Cerrone, Principal, Cerrone Architects, based in Fairfield

Beltran, a Stratford resident, and an architectural student was one of three finalists with interior design student Maki Nanko and architectural student Luke Amiot. Nanko and Amiot tied for second place.

District 8 has been conducting the award competition for more than 10 years. All three winners were recognized at a holiday lunch at Norwalk Inn and shared a $1,500 award.
