Norwalk Community College President To Be Honored By Conntac

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Community College President David L. Levinson will be honored by the Connecticut Talent Assistant Cooperative with a Friend of CONNTAC Award at the organization’s 49th Breakfast Meeting.

The meeting will take place on Oct. 21 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Fantasia Banquet Facility in North Haven.

Levinson is also Vice President for the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities. 

The theme of the breakfast meeting is Real Equity & Inclusion. The keynote speaker will be Glenn Cassis, former executive director of the Connecticut African-American Affairs Commission. 

The event honors and encourages outstanding participants who have overcome obstacles in their pursuit of higher education. 

It gives attendees an opportunity to network and affords CONNTAC the chance to thank its host institutions, high schools, community contacts and contributors for supporting the group’s service efforts during the year. 

CONNTAC promotes and expands equal educational access and opportunity for Connecticut residents. 

Each year, CONNTAC brings individuals from local organizations, colleges, universities, high schools and businesses together to strengthen collaborations on topics such as educational access, career training and student support services.
