The course will be offered from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Sept. 24.
The training program prepares students for entry-level positions in community and hospital pharmacy settings and for the pharmacy certified technician examination. Students will learn about prescription and over-the-counter drugs, compounding, calculations, legal aspects and parenteral administration of drugs and aseptic techniques, as well as topics in chemistry, anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. A strong background in mathematics is recommended.
