Norwalk Community College Hosts Pinning Ceremony For Graduating Nurses

NORWALK, Conn. --  The Norwalk Community College's Division of Nursing and Allied Health will hold a Pinning Ceremony for the graduating December 2014 Nursing Class, who have completed their degree program requirements.

The ceremony will be on Monday, Dec. 22, at 4 p.m. in the East Campus PepsiCo Theater at NCC. 

The Pinning Ceremony is a tradition in which nursing pins are presented to the nursing graduation candidates. It represents the symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. 

The new nurses will be congratulated by the college’s nursing faculty, receive a school pin, and participate in a candle-lighting ceremony.
