Norwalk Band Marches Friday For Spirit Night

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk High School Marching Band will unveil its 2015 show on Friday, Aug. 28, at its annual Spirit Night.

The show begins at 6 p.m. at Andrews Field. Admission is free and family, friends and alumni of the band are invited.

Spirit Night celebrates the accomplishments of students from band camp. The band will also present "Cry of the Valkerie,'' its show for the 2015 season.

Under the direction of Chris Rivera, the Marching Bears are regarded as one of the top bands in the nation. Norwalk won the U.S. Bands Open Class National Championship last year.
