Norwalk Aquarium Accepting Engineering Program Applications

NORWALK, Conn. – Current Norwalk Public Schools seventh- and eighth-graders can apply for this summer’s Mayor’s Student Engineering & Science Program at the Maritime Aquarium.

The program will offer up to 50 students a free week of learning and exploration.

The first session will be June 29-July 3, with the second session held Aug. 10-14.

Students can obtain applications from a science teacher in Norwalk’s middle schools.

Applicants will be accepted based on need, interest in marine-related science and academic promise.

The deadline is May 1.

The effort is funded through $20,000 raised by the Norwalk Energy Efficiency Challenge.
