Holiday donations continue to roll in to area food pantries. Next week, the South Norwalk Neighborhood Association will have more food to give away thanks to the annual Naramake Elementary School food drive, sponsored by the school's Parent Teacher Organization and the Family Resource Center.
Unfortunately, donations are down from last year. Amy Tucci, food drive chairperson, said they picked up late last week, and she hopes that continues. The drive runs through Tuesday.
Last year, the drive collected 4,000 pounds of food. Tucci said 1,400 pounds have been collected so far. "It's still going to feed a lot of people," she said.
