Medard Thomas Takes Over As Principal At Norwalk's Columbus Magnet School

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Public Schools have named Medard Thomas as principal of Columbus Magnet School.

Thomas arrives at Columbus from Jettie Tisdale School, a K-8 in Bridgeport, where he served as assistant principal. He also spent time as assistant head of school at Corlears School, and assistant principal at Parkway Elementary School and the International School at Dundee in Greenwich.

Thomas taught at Parkway Elementary and in the New York City Public School system -- after earning a MS in education leadership from Manhattan College, an MS in early childhood education from the Bank Street College of Education, and a BS in psychology from Fordham University.
