Sir Knights Anthony Armentano, Mike Colaluca, Scott Criscuolo, Scott Mazzo and George Ribellino were led by Color Corps Commander Bill Berger in honoring the graduates. Ribellino also presented two $500 scholarships to students who will attend Catholic high schools.

“It is an honor to be able to help two catholic students continue their academic as well as spiritual journey,” Ribellino said. “Seeing the class in their cap and gowns reminds me of when I graduated, and I am excited for them on the path they all continue to take.”

Knights of Columbus Saint Matthew Council No. 14360’s annual scholarships will be named in honor of Mario Mastracchio beginning with the 2014-15 school year. Mastacchio was the first Deputy Grand Knight in the council, and he died in 2009 of cancer.

The council is in Norwalk, and members organize fundraisers to benefit a number of local organizations, like Malta House and Foster Care Agency of Connecticut. For more information, visit the website at Saintmatthewknights.com.
