Battle of Band Committee Thanks Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – The following message is from the Norwalk High School Battle of the Bands, the Norwalk High School Fathers Club and the Norwalk High School Touchdown Club:

The Norwalk High School Battle of the Bands would like to congratulate the following bands: 1st place – Vienna (which will be playing at the Black Bear Saloon), 2nd place – MadSoul (which will be playing at Rowley's Tavern), 3rd place – Interstellar Elevators (which will be playing at O'Neills Restaurant), 4th place – The Dudes (who will be playing at B.J. Ryan's Restaurant), and 5th place – Noel Knight (who will be singing at East Side Cafe). Thank you to our local restaurants for the opportunities for these artists to play in their establishments!

We would like to thank all the bands who competed in the event and give a special shout-out to Forgetting Fame for coming to play for us!

Thank you to everyone who attended and thanks to the Norwalk High School football players and our parent volunteers for their help with running the event. We could not have made it a successful event without the support of all our sponsors, including A Cook Print, Bagel King, Beto Petrillo, Cida Crafts, Denis Dalesio, D.J. Helio, Dunkin’ Donuts, Francesca's Deli, Lenny Mecca, Los Cabos, The Market Basket, Mike Murray, NY Bakery,, The Norwalk High Alumni Association, Robeks, Sergio's Painting, Sherwin-Williams, Stew Leonard’s, Taste of Brazil, The Daily Norwalk, The Product Source and Tucci Lumber Company. Together we were able to raise over $1,000. We hope to make this an annual event so we can see lots more talented musicians compete next year.
