FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. - Prudential Connecticut Realty will host its first statewide home buyer event, Sept. 18-27. The goal is to help first-time home buyers better understand the process of buying and financing a home.
During the two-hour seminars, which will be at various Prudential Connecticut Realty offices throughout Fairfield County, prospective buyers will learn about the housing market in their area, as well as pros and cons of buying versus renting. There also will be an overview of the mortgage process and a discussion of tax breaks that come along with home ownership. Prudential Realtors and representatives from Connecticut Home Mortgage will be on hand to answer any questions.
The home buying process can be complicated and stressful, said Candace Adams, president of Prudential Connecticut Realty. She added: The purpose of the events is to provide buyers with the right information they need from professionals who can help them achieve their home buying goals.
