FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Hollywood’s reigning king of couch-jumping is on the move. The word on the multimultimillion-dollar real estate street is that the soon-to-be-divorced Tom Cruise is looking for a private getaway where daughter Suri can play in peace, beyond the prying lenses of the paparazzi.
The Daily News reported Friday that the mega-star has enlisted the help of agents in Westchester County, N.Y., and Fairfield County.
With money not likely to be an issue, and with plenty of vacant estates on the market, speculating on where the action-adventure dad and his fashionista daughter Suri will land is irresistible.
Will they take over the former Mel Gibson estate in Greenwich, Conn., where daddy can teach Suri to play chess on a life-size chessboard?
Or will he opt for the tony waterfront elegance of this $26 million Darien gem, where Suri could park her own boat?
Bedford, N.Y., has plenty of available estates starting at $13 million and up, including this wooded compound priced at an even $30 million.
One thing is for sure: Subtlety has never been Mr. Cruise’s forte, so there is sure to be more news on his impending move to suburbia coming soon.

Does it seem to anyone else that Suri might be a little mentally challenged? She is always being carried instead of walking. That's highly unusual for a normal six year old. Also, her expressions seem quite immature and unintelligent for her age. She's always carrying stuffed animals--Does she ever look at books or other more age appropriate toys?
Also, she was kept hidden for so long when first born, and that could indicate some mild type of problem.
Perhaps she has a type of autism like Asperger's Syndrome--that would explain delayed motor development and unusual facial expressions.
Surely, I'm not the only person to observe this.

Hey, there's a 31 acre $4 million house in Wilton up for sale.... he'd sure get land for privacy, and not pay overinflated Darien rates.
Oh remember the Frisbie Pie Co.,..they were the best! :-)
Mr. Cruise's estate will need to have a large, level open field so that Xenu's flying saucers can land there.
Uh, you, Mr. T, mock the police. Back at 'cha.
Simpleton
I have never once mocked the police..WHAT I HAVE DONE AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO IS POINT OUT all the failures of the NPD.....You should try if sometimes instead of posting your lies. Also what does "Back at 'cha" have to do with this as I am not of the same religion as Tom Cruise..I just hate racist and ones that are intolerant towards other religions.
nooooo! We don't need him around here!!!
