Police: Man Who Drives On Lawn Of Mahopac House Didn't Have Valid License

A Mahopac man was charged with driving without a license after he drove across the front lawn of a residence recently, according to Carmel police.

Following the incident on Mount Hope Road, Jan Doda, 51, presented a Slovakian Identification card, but did not have a New York State driver's license, police said.

He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
