There is a hazardous weather outlook as conditions will be ripe for severe thunderstorms heading into early Saturday evening. With the system comes the threat of locally damaging winds, the Weather Service said.
Friday will continue to be sunny, with a high near 88.
There is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms, with patchy fog arriving in Saturday's early hours, otherwise overnight brings increasing clouds and cool temperatures near 70.
The morning will bring patchy fog, and the day's temperatures could hit 86. Saturday's stormy weather will include showers and thunderstorms before 2 p.m., then thunderstorms possibly from 2 to 4 p.m. Gusty winds and heavy downpours are expected.
The precipitation overall is 60 percent likely, and could bring about a half-inch of rain to the area.
The chance of showers lessen Saturday night, but could persist up to 8 p.m. The night's sky will become clear, and temperatures drop to 66.
Sunday will be a sunny day, with seasonal air around 83.
