The composer’s trio, which consists of herself, bassist Scott Hardy and drummer Michael Sarin will be appearing at the restaurant, Alvin and Friends, on Saturday, May 14, and Saturday, May 28.
According to one reviewer for “Jazz Improv” magazine, Pintchik’s new CD is “a true rarity.”
Reviewer Dan Bilansky praised its “tenderhearted themes, chic rhythmic foundations … and catchy strains.”
“Getting lost in this music is simply a joy,” he wrote.
The Southern contemporary and Caribbean restaurant is located at 14 Memorial Highway.
The performances run from 7:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.
