The package includes renovations to the schools to allow for specialized learning spaces that are geared towards STEAM learning (the acronym stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math); renovated and added space for the library; turf fields at Horace Greeley High School and Robert E. Bell Middle School; and replacements of aging infrastructure.

On hand for the session, which will be held at the Chappaqua Library, will be Chappaqua Schools Superintendent Lyn McKay, Assistant Superintendent for Business John Chow, school board members and Library Director Pamelea Thornton.

The forum is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m., while the bond vote is scheduled for Tuesday, June 14.

The bond will be tax neutral, as debt payments will be offset by the retiring of older debt.

Details on the bond package are available to read here.
