They also turned to the public Wednesday for help finding any other alleged victims.
Marcus Stroud, 18, of Nyack, lured the boy into sex acts through the use of the Snapchat app and other social media outlets, authorities charged Wednesday.
Stroud was being held on $100,000 bail in the Rockland County Jail, charged with committing a criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, sexual misconduct and child endangerment after boy's parents reported the alleged incidents to police, they said.
Meanwhile, Clarkstown police asked parents who had children in programs with Stroud to talk with them.
They asked that anyone with information about this particular case, or any others that might involve Stroud, to call their Juvenile Aid Bureau at (845) 639-5835 or the Tips Line at 1-(877) 639-6233 .
