The restaurant will debut after an extensive restoration and revitalization under the vision of owners Marc Backon, Antonio Ninivaggi and a group of local investors.

“We are thrilled for the community to open a restaurant in Longshore and see our vision for Pearl at Longshore come to life," said Backon, who has been a Westport resident for over 20 years. "Our goal is to create one of Westport’s premier restaurants, where everyone gets to experience the warm hospitality and exceptional food, whether with family, friends or colleagues. Pearl invites you to share this newest chapter in Longshore Club Park’s long history.”

Pearl at Longshore will feature sophisticated, seasonally inspired, American cuisine. Nestled on the coastline at Westport’s Longshore Club Park, Pearl offers a stunning view.

Its goal is to be a meeting place for the community to eat, drink, relax and enjoy all year round.

Executive Chef Michael Hazen will create a menu of delicious, healthy meals that reflect the seasons and focus on the simplicity and flavors of the ingredients.

“Guests will experience what is truly, uniquely Pearl,” said Ninivaggi, who is also the owner of Fairfield’s Osianna. It will begin “with the sophisticated seasonal American cuisine and enhanced by the restaurant design that flows from the natural beauty and captivating views from the Inn at Longshore.”

Designer Bilal Barakat has captured the spirit and history of Longshore and infused it with a rustic chic and cosmopolitan feel.

The expansive bar and remodeled lounge will add to the experience, where patrons can enjoy wine, craft and micro-brew beers, or traditional and handcrafted cocktails. Its amenities will also include Pearl in a Box, a takeout fare menu, and a new level of customer-centric hospitality whether guests arrive by car, golf cart or foot.

Pearl at Longshore will be open every day year-round for lunch, dinner and late evening cocktails with a light fare.
