Kamilaris, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional services from Rutgers University, is pursuing her Master’s in clinical nutrition at NYU.
“The Glass family is very excited that Christina has joined us at our Paramus ShopRite store,” said Terry Glass, co-president and operator of the Paramus ShopRite. “More customers are seeking ways to create healthier meals and advice on nutrition, and Christina is an expert who will be available to our customers to offer advice and guidance.”
Kamilaris will be available to help shoppers read nutrition labels, counsel those with food allergies and develop personalized meal plans, she said.
Her goals are to use “food as medicine” to prevent the prevalence and progression of disease and to bring health and wellness to customers, associates and the local community.
Kamilaris joins more than 120 registered dietitians who offer freeadvice on nutrition, meal planning and diet modification at ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.
The Paramus ShopRite, on Route 4, is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
