Both have extensive backgrounds in higher education, business and marketing.

In her new role, Mann will capitalize on the unique benefits of the college – its graduate, undergraduate and certificate programs – to drive student enrollment and program attendance, as well as increase revenues. Mann also will focus her efforts on better brand visibility – synchronizing and perfecting the schools’ branding in addition to launching initiatives such as MSB’s Women’s Leadership Institute and Corporate Learning Services.

Before joining MSB, Mann served as director of marketing and client relations for School Choice International, a global educational consulting firm. Mann has worked at universities in Connecticut and New York City, serving in a variety of capacities including extension campus director, adjunct instructor, and director of admissions and marketing.

Mann received her MBA from Baruch College with a concentration in marketing management. She holds her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and has completed a diploma program in advertising from New York University.

Cain comes to Manhattanville from the College of Staten Island – CUNY, where she served as senior academic advisor to the School of Business, as well as executive administrator for the dean of Humanities and Social Sciences.

At MSB, Cain will be responsible for the accelerated BS programs, dual-degree programs, post-baccalaureate offerings, summer/winter sessions, non-credit programs and centers of excellence.

Prior to working in an academic setting, Cain developed her business expertise in the international sales and marketing industry.

Cain obtained her BFA in sculpture from Atlanta College of Art. She also has an MA in History/Material Culture from The College of Staten Island. Cain has taught courses as a part-time professor in English composition and entrepreneurship.
