With his home crumbling around him, a Stamford resident living in the Glenbrook area could not provide the right maintenance to his home due to his age. It became apparent that the home was in dire need of a major renovation or even a demolition. The agents at House Real Estate noticed the problem and consulted with the man, who was living alone.

Instead of leaving the man who was in need of professional care to fend for himself, the House Real Estate agents wanted to help him find a suitable alternative. They located the Charter Oak Community in downtown Stamford, which offers public-assisted housing to people with a variety of specialized needs.
Davis and the agents at House Real Estate even hand delivered the paperwork from the resident to Charter Oak Community to ensure he received the proper care. Once the paperwork was approved, the man was able to move out of his collapsing home and into a beautiful assisted housing community.
