The two properties for sale, which are represented by Stamford agent Barbara Hickey, are offered at $945,000 and $995,000, and are located in a mid-city, high-profile area off High Ridge Road.

Known as Walnut Ridge, this 10-lot development has been in the works since 2007, stalling as a result of market conditions.

Now the single-family residential community is underway, with the two homes now for sale and represented by Hickey set to be complete by the end of August.

“Subdivisions here in Stamford of any size over the years have been few and far between, let alone one of this size,” said Hickey. “The city was primarily built up in the '50s, '60s and '70s, and afterward, subdivisions really fell off mostly due to lack of good level land. This new community, located in the most convenient spot halfway between downtown Stamford, Metro North, 1-95 and the Merritt Parkway, is therefore an extremely unique opportunity, and not to be missed.”

The two luxury homes boast a Colonial style, complete with high-quality materials and finishes. Both classic residences greet visitors with a front porch and two-story entry foyer with eastern exposure, allowing for sunrise views.

The four-bedroom, two and a half-bath homes additionally contain such features as 9-foot ceilings, hardwood floors with inlay and herringbone design, deep crown moldings and more.

Founded in 1949, William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty manages a $3.9 billion portfolio with more than 1,000 sales associates in 28 brokerages spanning Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Westchester County, N.Y.
