The home, originally built in 1872, is represented by Darien agent Christine Straden, and available for $2.95 million.

The Oysterman’s Row Historic District is protected under the Rowayton Historical Society and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, the coastal neighborhood served as home to oystermen, boat builders, oyster houses, crews and captains.

The home at 6 Logan Place is one of these remaining Oysterman’s Row homes. Although built in the late 19th century, the home was authentically reconstructed and expanded in 2011 combining elegance and character with modern amenities, luxury and style.

The 6,307-square-foot home offers rooms for large family gatherings but also features intimate historic details, from the wide plank walnut floors to the custom chestnut pocket doors with glass panels.
