A historic property on the former estate of baseball legend Jackie Robinson is for sale in North Stamford. The original door to Jackie's house (since torn down) is now the entrance to a 4,000-bottle wine cellar. The original pool, which was commissioned to be in the shape of a baseball glove, is the centerpiece of the professionally landscaped backyard. The property is sited on a private lake, which was the location for many jazz festivals hosted by the Robinsons. The four-bedroom home is listed at $1.695 million.
