The city of Norwalk includes five districts in the State House of Representatives.
- In District 137, Democratic incumbent Chris Perone is facing Republican challenger Arthur Scialabba.
- In District 140, Democratic incumbent Bruce Morris is running unopposed.
- In District 141, Republican incumbent Terrie Wood is running unopposed. This district also includes part of Darien.
- In District 142, Democrat Andy Garfunkel and Republican Fred Wilms are running to fill the seat of retiring Republican Larry Cafero. This district also includes part of New Canaan.
- In District 143, Republican incumbent Gail Lavielle is facing Democratic challenger Keith Rodgerson. This district also includes part of Westport and Wilton.

In the state Senate race for Norwalk’s District 25, Democratic incumbent Bob Duff will face off against Republican challenger William Dunne. This district also includes parts of Darien.
In the race for Judge of Probate, Republican incumbent Anthony DePanfilis is facing Democratic challenger Darnell Crosland. The Norwalk Probate District also includes Wilton.
Republican Registrar of Voters Karen Doyle Lyons and Democratic Registrar of Voters Stuart W. Wells III are both seeking re-election this year.
Norwalk voters will be asked one question on the ballot: Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to remove restrictions concerning absentee ballots and to permit a person to vote without appearing at a polling place on the day of an election?
In the race for the 4th District of the U.S. House of Representatives, Norwalk voters will be asked to choose between Democratic incumbent Jim Himes and Republican challenger Dan Debicella. Himes, a Greenwich resident, has served three terms in Congress. Debicella is a Shelton businessman who previously served in the State Senate. The two previously ran against each other in 2010.
In the governor’s race, Norwalk voters will join others statewide in choosing between Democratic incumbent Dannel P. Malloy and Republican challenger Tom Foley. Other state races on the ballot include lieutenant governor, secretary of state, treasurer, comptroller and attorney general.
