A somewhat large portion of likely voters throughout the state are still undecided between the two candidates, according the most recent poll conducted by the University of Connecticut and the Hartford Courant. McMahon and Murphy are in a statistical dead heat with a larger-than-average 28-percent saying they are "undecided."
Voters will get some help making up their minds when the two candidates face off in the senatorial debate held at the Garde Arts Center in New London on Oct. 15.

I'm the Libertarian ("other") senate candidate. You may or may not know that I, Like Gary Johnson last night, have not been invited to debate. I'm not fond of the camera so not being there saves me a little bit of anxiety, but my point is that I entered the race to provide an escape from the two-party game.
Please understand it is a game and neither the D's or the R's want the voters to notice. So I'm speaking to the select few folks that have noticed. I urge you to get your friends away from the "litmus test" mentality that the major parties want you to use. Stop being manipulated.
If you believe in smaller government and more freedom then vote Libertarian, and encourage others to vote Libertarian too!
Linda is trying to make a big deal out of Murphy having problems in the past paying his bills on time. He did pay them, sometimes late, but they were paid. She, on the other hand, filed bankruptcy and cheated creditors out of over a million dollars. Given the choice between the two, I support the one who pays his bills. I see that as a real indicator of integrity. Who can we trust to keep his or her word ?
She is running ads suggesting Murphy got a special deal on a mortgage and was naming the bank until the bank threatened to sue because the ads were not true. She is still running the ads, but now they do not name the bank. She only tells the truth when her bottom line is threatened.
Chris Murphy has served Connecticut well, despite McMahon's negative ad campaigning.
I'll be voting for Chris Murphy.
I asked Linda McMahon to explain her 5 point plan, she pointed me to her webpage, I read it and all I can say is, if McMahon presented a plan of this nature to the board of WWE, she would have been booted out before the last page was turned.
She is unable and not equipped to represent Connecticut in the US Senate
3 family members worked tirelessly for her company and couldn't get health care no matter how hard they tried. The stock went up considerably at that time and no raises were to be found. I admit if I judged her by her commercials I'd be sold but I know better from first hand experience. I wonder how much she's paid in PR and how much that amount could have benefited her employees. As much as I'd love to see a woman in that position, in this case, a man is better suited for the job.
