Norwalk Republicans, Democrats: Vote In Tuesday's Primary Elections

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk voters registered with either the Democratic Party or Republican Party can vote in Tuesday's primary elections in the city.

Registered Republicans can choose between gubernatorial candidates Tom Foley or John McKinney. The winner of the primary will face Gov. Dannel P. Malloy in November.

Republicans will also choose among Penny Bacchiochi, Heather Somers or David M. Walker for lieutenant governor, and between Sharon J. McLaughlin and Angel Cadena for state comptroller.

In the race for Norwalk Republican Registrar of Voters, incumbent Karen Doyle Lyons faces party-endorsed candidate John Federici

In the Democratic primary for the 137th Assembly District, incumbent Chris Perone faces party-endorsed candidate David Watts.

In the Democratic primary for the 140th Assembly District, party-endorsed incumbent Bruce Morris faces challenger Warren Peña.

In the Republican primary for 142nd District, party-endorsed Emily Wilson faces challenger Fred Wilms. Incumbent Larry Cafero is not seeking re-election for the House seat.

  • District 137C: Tracey Elementary School, 20 Camp St.
  • District 140A: Kendall Elementary School, 57 Fillow St.
  • District 140B: Columbus Elementary School, 46 Concord St.
  • District 140C: Nathaniel Ely School, 11 Ingalls Ave.
  • District 141A: Roton Middle School, 201 Highland Ave.
  • District 142A: Fox Run Elementary School, 228 Fillow St.
  • District 142B: Ponus Ridge Middle School, 21 Hunters Lane
  • District 142C: West Rocks Middle School, 81 West Rocks Road
  • District 143A: Nathan Hale Middle School, 176 Strawberry Hill Ave.
  • District 143B: Wolfpit Elementary School, 1 Starlight Drive

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. statewide.

Voters can go online to the website for the Secretary of the State at www.sots.ct.gov/vote to see whether they are registered to vote and where their polling place is located.
