NORWALK, Conn. - Mitt Romney edged President Barack Obama in a poll of Norwalk Daily Voice readers on the eve of the election.

Romney got 51 percent of the vote to Obama's 46 percent in the unscientific poll. Two percent of the voters said they still hadn't decided.

What would you expect when the Republicans voted MULTPLE times each...

Amend XV Sect 1. The RIGHT of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. (emph mine).
Amend XIX Sect 1. The RIGHT of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex. (emph mine).
Amend XXIV Sect 1. The RIGHT of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election...shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State by reason of failure to pay poll tax or other tax.(emph mine).
Amend XXVII Sect 1. The RIGHT of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.(emph mine).

Well, I stand corrected Debora, thank you. Not the first or only mistake we have made as a country. Was an amendment in there banning alcohol at one time too. We would I think be in alot better shape as a nation if those who choose not to contribute or act responsibly had less say in how we run things. Its nice to let everyone have a say, but, Its also kinda like letting your children decide if you should have pizza, or pay the mortgage. We really need to start paying our bills before giving away pizza.

where in the constitution does it say there is a ' right to vote'? Please, anyone?

Nobody will be able to answer, because it doesnt say its a right. Matter of fact originally only property owners & those with a vested interested were given a vote. Barack Obama couldnt even get nominated under those conditions.

But anyway, the choice is very clear to most thinking working Americans and should be clear to all of us in CT. Liberalism has been tried & rode into the ground, in a few short decades we destroyed what 100+ years of conservative govt built. Lets take back CT & America!

Thanks @ Ken P Jr.,
That's all I wanted to hear. I'm tired of people saying it's a Right when it's a privilege.

Barnstorm got it right. There is only one poll that counts. VOTE. Too many have given their lives defending our right to vote.
