Norwalk Democrats Going To Polls For Wednesday's Primary Election

NORWALK, Conn. – Democrats in Norwalk Districts A and B will head to the polls Wednesday to cast their ballots in the primary election for open seats on the Common Council, Board of Education and Second Taxing District Commission.

Registered Democrats in District A will pick two of the four candidates running to represent the district on the Common Council: Incumbent Eloisa M. Melendez, Jalin Sead, Rhonda Teel and Steven Serasis.

Voters in District A will also choose one of the two candidates for Board of Education: Nicole Ayers and Yvel C. Crevecoeur.

In District B, voters will choose two of the three candidates running for the Common Council: Incumbents Phaedrel L. Bowman and Travis Simms, and challenger Manny Langella.

District B voters will also select one of the two candidates running for Board of Education: Incumbent Migdalia Rivas and challenger Erik T. Anderson.

Voters in District B1, which is located in the Second Taxing District, will choose two of three candidates running for Second Taxing District Commissioner: Incumbents Mary E. (Mimi) Burgess and Mary O. Mann, and challenger Sandra Y. Stokes.

  • District A1: Tracey School, 20 Camp St.
  • District A2: St. Mary’s Community Hall, 669 West Ave.
  • District A3: Kendall School, 57 Fillow St.
  • District A4: Nathan Hale School (back), 176 Strawberry Hill Ave.
  • District B1: Columbus School, 46 Concord St.
  • District B2: Nathaniel Ely School, 11 Ingalls Ave.
