NORWALK, Conn. U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona will be in Norwalk and Danbury on Monday to campaign for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon .
The former Republican presidential candidate will first stop at a campaign rally at the Disabled American Veterans Hall in Danbury from noon to 1 p.m. He will be appearing with Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton in support of McMahon. The first 50 people in attendance at the event will receive a free t-shirt. The Veterans Hall is at 25 Segar St.
Following the Danbury event McCain will travel to McMahons campaign office on Washington Street in Norwalk, where he will speak from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The details of the event are still being worked out, according to a spokesperson for the McMahon campaign. The events will be free and open to the public, but registration will be required due to limited space.
