Pony Tail Steve:

A TRUE American Hero, that fought for our Freedom.

A 1958 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, McCain had a 22-year military career as a pilot and officer in the Navy. Five of those years (1967-73) were spent in a Vietnamese prisoner of war camp after he was shot down over Hanoi during the Vietnam War. McCain left the Navy in 1981, was elected to Congress in 1982, and then was elected as U.S. senator from Arizona in 1986.

"A TRUE American Hero, that fought for our Freedom"
What freedom?? Last I check Vietnam did not threaten our freedom.

Tim T:

Oh please he's a bum who has been leaching off his combat time all his life..He is far far from the only prisoner of war , the only difference is most have moved on.

NorwalkLifer:

Please Mr. McCain, I would argue your view of what makes a female candidate able and capable of handling an august office such as Senator or Vice President, is detrimental to the ideal.

Please, for her sake, stay away
