This year, in a long-awaited victory for clean energy proponents, Duff helped lead passage of new regulations that will clear the way for construction of new wind power in Connecticut, lifting an effective moratorium.
“The health of Connecticut’s air, soil and water supply is critically important to our quality of life and economy,” Duff said in a statement. “By acting now and making smart, strategic investments in renewable energy, remediation and conservation projects, we can ensure that Connecticut is the best place to live, work and raise a family.”
Earlier this year, Duff was recognized as a “Clean Energy Champion” by the New England Clean Energy Council for his leadership on clean energy policy.
