Norwalk Woman Faces Drug Charges in Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. – A Norwalk woman was charged with possession of narcotics for allegedly having illegal prescription pills in her car, police said.

Shannon Iafeliece, 26, was stopped on Saugtauck Avenue last Wednesday night after she was clocked on radar speeding, police said. During the stop, the officer found a prescription bottle containing pills not prescribed on the label, the police report states. A second, unlabeled bottle filled with pills was also found.

Iafeliece was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is due in court July 9.
