NORWALK, Conn. – Two suspect were arrested in connection with a stabbing reported in South Norwalk on Saturday night, according to police reports.

A witness told police that three men were seen attacking a fourth in front of a South Main Street business at about 11 p.m. Saturday. Investigators did not locate a victim or suspects at the scene but found blood stains and other signs of a struggle, police said.

As of Monday morning, officers had not located a victim, according to police reports.

Another witness identified two of the suspects as John Arredondo, 19, of Ferris Avenue and Denzel Riddick, 19, of Spring Hill Road, according to police reports. Officers found the two men later that night and placed them under arrest, police said.

Police found a knife with a two-and-a-half-inch blade in Arredondo's possession during his arrest, police said. Officers also found 33 individually wrapped packages of marijuana in Riddick’s pants during the booking process, according to the arrest report.

Each suspect was charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit assault and disorderly conduct. Riddick was also charged with possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana and added charges for being within 1,500 feet of a public housing complex. Both men were held on bond and are due in court on March 18.
